Handy to have when you just arent sure where the target is in the hole. Works great when targets are shallow, you can just poke it around till you find your target which makes it quicker and cleaner. Its must have if you can afford it.

Great tool to have as a complement to a Garrett Detector

I am new to metal detecting, but decided on the Garrett Pro International from viewing the NQ Explorers youtube sight. I live in the "Golden Triangle" area (Eaglehawk), and have been out and about detecting the "diggings" and etc. What I have found out through my newfound hobbie, is that these old diggings are mostly now full of 20th Century rubbish and etc. I am really more interested in discovering local history - not just GOLD. Finding a George V coin, or similar, would be brilliant, and anything else would be a bonus. The Garrett AT PRO in Pro Mode works well . Anyway, good one!

I only used the pin pointer on six or so outings. It is a marvelous bit of kit. On the last occasion , I was accompanied by my cousin, another prospector. He asked to borrow it. I said Ok. That was months ago. I get emails telling me how good it is...
